Fragment aus zwei ursprünglich nicht zusammenhängenden Keramiken: einer Figur und eines Gefäßteils. Die frei modellierte Figur zeigt den Oberkörper eines Mannes mit buckelbesetztem Rundschild am Arm und kleinerem Schild auf dem Rücken. Durch die Montage auf einen mit rotbrauner Lüsterbemalung verzierten, gerippten Kuppe (Deckel ?) ist die ursprüngliche Funktion der Figur nicht erkennbar. Der spitze Kopfschmuck des Mannes ermöglicht aufgrund von Parallelen in der Buchmalerei und auf anderer Gefäßkeramik am Ende des 12. und Anfang des 13. Jahrhunderts eine Datierung in diese Zeit.

Fragment of two originally unrelated ceramics: a figure and a vessel part. The free-form figure shows the upper body of a man with a round shield buckled on his arm and a smaller shield on his back. By mounting on a decorated, ribbed dome (lid?), with reddish brown luster painting, the original function of the figure is not recognizable. The pointed headdress of the man allows due to parallels in book illumination and on other vitrified pottery at the end of the 12th and early 13th century, a dating in this time.
