Sagittarius

Referenced on p21, The Mamluks - 1250-1517 by David Nicolle:
This Kitab al Sufar book on astronomy was made between 1300 and 1350, probably in Egypt. Here 'Sagittarius' has both a recurved composite bow and a saddle with promient pommel and cantle. There also appears to be a knot to adjust the length of the stirrup leathers. (Ms. Ar. 5323, f.53r, London)
