According to Jerphanion, this is a corruption of 'o Kapiklarios (clavicularios).

The figure wears a corselet of what appears to be leather scale armour, with elbow-length sleeves and kremasmata of similar construction. As well as the sword across his shoulder in his right hand, he bears his scabbard in his left.

There definitely seems to be a pattern on this figure's toubia - of very fine dots in white and perhaps also dark blue/grey, on a reddish background.
