The Adamklissi frieze, Romania (AD 108-109), is much less sophisticated than the sculpture on Trajan's column, but in many ways more realistic. Here the Dacian warrior wields his battle scythe (falx) two-handed, and the extra armour on the forearm of the legionary is not recorded for any other campaign.
