Painting (watercolour). Folio 130 from an album showing Turkish costume. Tatar, a government messenger or courier. Brown kaftan with elbow-length sleeves. Orange kuşak with two pistols and a long-lashed whip tucked into it, Red striped blouse. Pouch. His hat has a yellow crown and an astrakhan brim.
