Painting (watercolour). Folio 31 from an album showing Turkish costume. Rikâb Solak, the stirrup-holder and one of theh solak bodyguards. Wearing the huge plume (süpürge sorguçlu), which was a feature of the solaks' head-dresses, and a stiff black aigrette on the white pointed cap (kuka) which has a gold brim, Orange kaftan with long flaps, tucked into his kuşak. Red şalvar.
