The Wade Cup with Animated Script, 1200-1221

Diameter: width 16.10 cm (6 5/16 inches); Overall: height 11.50 cm (4 1/2 inches).
Inscription: The band of animated script around the rim of the cup is a series of good wishes for the owner. It translates: "Glory, and success, and government, and bliss, and soundness, and peace of mind, and mercy, and well-being, and good health, and duration, and increase, and satisfaction, and care, and continuance to its owner." Arabic is written from right to left.
