Salma = law enforcement officer in the Ottoman Empire.
Nöbetçi = sentry.
Haseki Ağa is an officer of the Bostancıbaşı, implements the death decisions given by the sultan. He is depicted with a pointed hood and a staff in his hand.
Salma Çuhadarı were about twenty officers, under the command of the janissary agha, whose job it is to uncover secret events.
Attire: They wore a green wool-cloth topless cap on their heads with a black sheepskin hat over it, a red robe called a 'piripiri' on their back, and a full-length shalwar (baggy-trousers).
